Pongali(Hot)

Ingredients:
Rice 3 cups
Moong dal 1-1/4 cup
Ginger size 2 inch
Cumin seeds 2 tbs
Peppercorn 20
Ghee 4 tbs
Water 9 cups
Salt to taste

Recipe
1.Grind all ginger,cumin and peppercorn together.
2.Heat pressure cooker pan and add 2 tbs of ghee.
3.Add that grinded mixture to ghee and fry it for 1 minute.
4.Then add washed rice and moongdal......water,salt..
stir it well.
5. Bring it to 4 to 5 whistles.
6.After the rice got cooked..you can add some more water,ghee and heat it well before you eat.

This pongali is so tasty with (groundnut+split dal+coconut)chutney and vankaya gujju pulusu.
You can'nt imazine how yummy flavour it will have...
