Simple Egg cake

Ingredients:
Butter 1 cup( 8 oz or 16 tbs)
Sugar 1 and 1/4 cups
Maida
or All purpose flour 1 and 1/2 cups
Baking powder 3/4 tbs
Eggs 4
Vanilla essence/extract 1 tbs

Method:
1.Preheat the oven at 350F for 10min.
2.Sieve the flour. Keep it aside.
3.Beat sugar in butter till it becomes a smooth paste.
Then add one egg at a time beating it all the time. Add essence and mix.
3.Add flour 1 tbs at a time mixing slowly.
4.Grease an oven safe dish with butter.
(optioal:Then sprinkle some flour on it and spread the flour).
5. Now pour the cake mixture into this dish and bake the cake for around 40min at 350F (or till a knife inserted in the cake comes out clean).

Note:Those who doesn't like egg flavour much...you can use 3 eggs and some milk instead of extra egg.
